Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Cedric I. Davern papers (1980-1988) contain correspondence, research notes and papers, article reprints, lecture materials, student papers, and news clippings. This collection includes materials relating to the professional life of Davern (1931-1988), past professor of cellar, viral, and molecular biology at the University of Utah. Davern also served as dean of the medical school and academic vice president of the University of Utah.
