Scope and Contents The folders in this box pertain to Joseph J. Cannon's work with the Colombia Land Investment Company, specifically the Lands of Loba. These lands were rich in timber and offered promises of a lucrative cattle and sugar business. The lands were eventually bought by a group called the Magdalena Land Company (Joseph J.
