Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Joseph Smith Senior patriarchal blessing book (1833-1843) consists of a copy of the original book where the blessings were recorded. A transcript is included since the original manuscript is hard to read. A name index is included as part of the transcript. There are about 322 blessings contained in the collection.
