Scope and Contents The Melville family's trips to California: 1955 trip: The Melville children play on the beach and in the ocean, then the entire family goes to Sea World where they see seals, dolphins, and orcas (killer whales). They return to the beach and then visit the grave of James Alexander Melville (1870-1942) as well as many other ancestors' graves. 1977 trip: The Melville family goes to the beach and visits Disneyland, Universal Studios and Universal City.
