Scope and Contents Arden Clegg (b. 1924) was born in Heber, Utah. He was drafted into the army and went to Europe on the British ship. He did not participate in the D-Day invasion, but arrived in France vai Omaha Beach a few days after the invasion. Among other things, Cleff was a medic. He was a medic in the First General Hospital on V-E day and describes his recollection of the celebration in Paris.
