The Alonzo Huckins diary was kept by Huckins during his travels in the 1860s. It contains almost no dates and is primarily concerned with listing the proper mileage between differing points along his routes. Each point notes available grass, wood, water, buffalo chips, and sage brush. The journal is divided into three accounts.
