Scope and Contents This folder contains meeting minutes [original and typescript] of the stock holders of various canal companies held in the South Jordan Ward House on August 19, 1901. Also included is a letter (1911) from Joseph F. Smith, Jr. to Franklin E. Smith regarding Franklin's question whether or not spirits have the power to lay on hands for the purpose of conferring the Priesthood. The original letter has been removed and placed in Reserve.
