Powell Society photograph collection
The Powell Society was incorporated in 1969 in order to promote the general study of the canyons of the American West, the study of the Colorado River Basin, and the study of John Wesley Powell and his work, and to facilitate the publication of materials generated by these studies. This collection contains black-and-white and color photographs depicting boat trips undertaken by Society members in 1957, 1972, and 1975.

Kenneth R. Prentiss papers
The Kenneth R. Prentiss papers (1947-1970) contain correspondence, publications, reports, notes, and notebooks, mostly dealing with Prentiss's work in mechanical engineering on ventilating systems and water boiler systems for airplanes. Prentiss graduated from Purdue University with bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering. During World War II, he served in the United States Army Air Corps, and later worked in the aerospace industry.

The Ivy Baker Priest papers (1889-1975) document the career of this U. S. Treasurer and California State Treasurer and are concerned primarily with national and California political issues. A Utah native, Priest (1905-1975) was active in Republican party activities, was an unsuccessful Utah congressional candidate in 1934 and 1950, and served on Utah's Women's Legislative Council.
