Abstract The Frederick Hoffman Wood papers (1950s-1960s) consist of a diary and loose diary pages, correspondence, clippings, brochures, and other materials that document his participation in the 1955-1956 Eggert-Hatch Expedition. The expedition was a river trip down the Green and Colorado Rivers with the purpose of making a complete film record of the river canyons before the great dams at Flaming Gorge and Glen Canyon were built.
