The Greek railroad workers records (1904-2000) contain copies of newspaper articles and government records pertaining to a railroad accident in February 1904, as well as articles from the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News about the dedication of a memorial to the accident victims. In February 1904, 28 railroad workers, including 16 Greek immigrants, were killed.

Their purpose was to exploit the resources to be found in the area of the lower Green and Grand (renamed the Colorado in 1921) Rivers. Included are stock certificates, certificates of incorporation, letters, and a prospectus.

The William Greenwood papers (1822-1889) contain correspondence, autobiographical sketch with family genealogy, and a short sketch of the life of Alice Houghton Greenwood. Greenwood (1822-1891) was born in Burnley England in 1822, converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints (LDS) in 1840, immigrated to Illinois in 1842, and later to Salt Lake City in 1886. Greenwood had three wives: Alice Houghton, Emma Johan Mercer, and Bertha Eyring.
