The Jewish oral history project (1972-1977) was conducted by the American West Center and consists of a series of interviews between 1972 and 1977 with local Jewish Americans concerning life in Utah.

The Jewish oral history project audio recordings (1972-1982) document the experiences of various people of the Jewish community in Utah and surrounding areas. The American West Center conducted this and other ethnic oral history projects in an attempt to record the experiences Utah's eithnic minorities.
Joe Hill Conference photograph collection
The Joe Hill Conference photograph collection contains photographs of the Eselius House and other buildings in Salt Lake City associated with Joe Hill. The collection also contains a photographic reproduction of The Joe Hill songbook, photographs of various locations in Utah taken in the 1930s and photographs of folk singer Faith Petric.
Joe Hill Organizing Committee records
The Joe Hill Organizing Committee records (1914-1991) contain book reviews, committee lists, correspondence, flyers, news clippings, newsletters, petitions, play reviews, posters, reservation permits, songbooks, stamps, and tax forms. Some documents are copies from the trial and execution of Joe Hill in Utah in 1915. The Organizing Committee was formed in 1989 to commemorate Joe Hill who was a popular songwriter for the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW).
Christian Johannesen diary [photocopy]
This collection (1882-1902) consists of a photocopy of the Christian Johannesen diary. He was the father of noted pianist Grant Johannesen.
Grant Johannesen papers
The Grant Johnannesen papers (1870-2005) contain correspondence, certificates, and printed material relating to his career as a concert pianist. Grant Johannesen played with several orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, and at Carnegie Hall. His major interests were the works of lesser-known French composers, such as Gabriel Faure, who's entire body of work he eventually recorded.

Grant Johannesen (1921-2005) was an internationally famous pianist. The Grant Johannesen photograph collection contains portraits and candid photographs of Johannesen and photographs of his performances dating from approximately 1940 to the 1990s.

The Jacob Johnson papers include a biography of Johnson written by his daughter, a photocopy of a speech before Congress in 1914, and a photocopy of Johnson's certificate of appointment to the bench of the Utah Territorial First District Court. Jacob Johnson was a Utah territorial era lawyer and judge and a Utah delegate to Congress. He practiced law in San Juan, Grand, and Emery counties, Utah.

Johnson (1817-1882), a writer, politician, and businessman who settled in St. George, Utah, during the latter nineteenth century.
