The Daughters of the American Colonists papers (1937-1996) contain a variety of information and materials about the local and national groups and information on other similar societies. The materials include: minutes, history, reports, expenditures, yearbooks, memorials, and general materials.

The Eliza R. Snow's histories of charitable societies in Utah collection (1876) consist of letters and historical reports, solicited by a Mrs. A.H. Smith and collected by Eliza Snow, from Utah's charitable societies. Reports were not submitted by some societies. Snow's own report on the LDS Church's Relief Society is probably the best summary statement on the role and activities of women in the LDS Church during the mid 19th century.

The Helen Bowring Ure papers (1930-1989) contain correspondence, awards, clippings, scrapbooks, and papers relating to national bodies of the P.T.A., Board of Education, Y.W.C.A., and the Women's Legislative Council of Utah, as well as the Ure and Bowring families. Includes correspondence and memorabilia of her husband, James W. Ure III.
