The David L. Bigler papers (1799-2016) consist of Bigler family materials, lectures, professional papers, correspondence, book reviews, manuscripts, documents, L.D.S. publications, newspaper clippings, journals, autobiographies, church mission records, scholarly articles, and research notes. Materials pertaining to several of Bigler's publications comprise the bulk of his papers.

The Juanita Brooks papers (1941-1993) is comprised mainly of photocopied letters from Dale Morgan to Juanita Brooks concerning her book, Mountain Meadows Massacre, published in 1950. Also included are some short stories, letters concerning John D. Lee, and an oral history transcript.

The John Doyle Lee papers (1876, 1949, 1982) comprise two categories of documents: typescripts of diaries and journals written by Lee between 1841 and 1851 and typescripts of documents written about Lee at later dates. While the collection does contain some of McQuown's more personal works, such as some of her poetry, the collection deals mainly with her research.
