Abstract The Emmeline B. Wells diaries (1844-1920) consist of Wells' personal journals that contain daily accounts of her life and activities. Wells (1828-1921) was an early Mormon pioneer who left her home in Massachusetts for Nauvoo, Illinois in 1844.
