A photograph album created by an unidentified man who served in the United States military containing black and white photographs and postcards. These depict Dugway Proving Grounds near Tooele, Utah, scenic Utah views, and United States Army soldires engaging in leisure activity like hiking and rock-hunting.

Abstract

James R. Holbrook is a clinical law professor at the University of Utah and served during the Vietnam War. Theis collection consists of 1 box containing 102 black-and-white and color photograph prints depicting Holbrook's military service, photographs related to his career in law and mediation, and personal photographs of friends and pets.

Abstract Almeron Newman (1875-1964) was a photographer in Trinidad, Colorado, and came to Salt Lake City in 1909 for the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) convention in August of that year. The Almeron Newman photograph collection consists of images of firemen, police, GAR vertans, women's groups, children, views of Salt Lake City, and US Army units at Fort Douglas. Abstract

Ivard Ritchie Rogers (1915-1988) served in World War II and was an outdoorsman and river runner. He worked for the Utah Bureau of Investigation, including 20 years service as director. This collection includes black-and-white and color slides depicting Rogers' military service and images of his friends and family. Also included are photos of Southern Utah and Utah national parks, river running, and the Green, Colorado, and Yampa rivers.
