The Grace Tanner Anderson autobiographical sketch is a handwritten account entitled "Sketches from the Life of Gracie Tanner Anderson."

The Margaret McNeil Ballard autobiography [typescript] (1850s-1917) describes her life as a Scottish-born LDS Church pioneer.

The Evalyn Darger Bennett biography on Eva Williams Darger (2008) is entitled "Eva: the Life Story of Eva Williams Darger." This biography also contains autobiographical writings by Eva.

The Mary Lythgoe Bradford papers (1936-1994) contain personal writing, research, and manuscripts written by Mary Lythgoe Bradford, a LDS poet, author, and literary critic. Materials predominantly consist of her research and drafts of the biography of Lowell Bennion, Lowell L. Bennion: Teacher, Counselor, Humanitarian.

This collection consists of an autobiography entitled, "Nettie Maria Davis Bradford (1873-1957): supplement to her life history in honor of the 100th anniversary year of her birth (March 17, 1873)." It was compiled by Nettie Bradford for Christmas 1973.

The Betty M. Madsen papers (1938-1997) contains journals, professional correspondence, unpublished manuscripts on linguistics and 19th-century women, and news clippings on women's issues in the 1970s and 1980s. Betty M. Madsen was a graduate of the University of Utah with degrees in French and linguistics. She was the co-author of several publications with her husband, Brigham D. Madsen and served as thesis editor at the University of Utah in the 1970s.

The collection on Ann H. Matthews was collected by her friend, Donna Smart. The collection consists of an autobiography written by Matthews, correspondence to Smart from Matthews, a and funeral program.

The Madeline R. McQuown papers (1803-1976) contain some of McQuown's research and works. While the collection does contain some of McQuown's more personal works, such as some of her poetry, the collection deals mainly with her research. Her research was focused on Brigham Young and the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the LDS Church).

The Leslie G. and Lutie Marshal Miller papers (1943-1960s) consist of a biographical sketch detailing the experiences of the family when they moved to the Gila River Indian Reservation, home of the Pima Indian Tribe; the Japanese Relocation Center in Poston, Arizona; and to the Tooele Army Depot in Tooele, Utah.

The Maydell Cazier Palmer autobiography recounts her experience growing up in Nephi, Utah; her family, education, mission, marriage and children; and life in western Canada and Pakistan. The autobiography contains comments on LDS Church leaders and doctrines, as well as on the position of women in the LDS Church.

The Alta LaRee Hill Pehrson papers (1883-2006) contains correspondence, family genealogies, clippings from her writing career, including the history of Magna, Utah. Alta Pehrson was active in the town of Magna, Utah, and was the first woman President of the Magna Chamber of Commerce.

This collections consists of a photocopy of the typescript autobiography of Olive Andelin Potter discussing family life in Utah, including her move from Salt Lake City to the Sanpete Valley in the 1880s.

The Renee Marchant Rampton autobiography (2015) is entitled, "One of Fifteen: Renee Marchant Rampton, Born July 25th, 1935: An Autobiography." Rampton was a strong supporter of the Equal Rights Ammendment and became involved with politics as they applied to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Edith Leroy Richardson papers (1883-1971) is comprised of two scrapbooks, nursing certificates, and other documents pertaining to and/or collected by Richardson (1881-1977), a professional nurse who was also a granddaughter of Chief Tintic of the Uintah Utes.

This collection consists of items donated by World War II veterans in conjunction with their oral history interviews conducted by the American West Center. This collection is ongoing, and items will be added periodically.
