Avard T. Fairbanks papers
The Avard T. Fairbanks papers (1880-2015) contain materials regarding this internationally known sculptor from Utah. Included in the collection are contracts, correspondence, notes, sketches, illustrations, news articles, project proposals, pamphlets, exhibition display boards, and biographical information. Fairbanks was a prominent Utah sculptor. He also organized the College of Fine Arts at the University of Utah.

Philo Taylor Farnsworth was an educator and school superintendent in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also was involved in the Mahanain Foundation, a religious education group, and was deeply involved in the theosophy and of its foundation.

He hosted the "Sandman Serenade" program which aired from 12 midnight to 6am, Mountain Standard Time. His program was broadcast through out the central and western United States and into parts of Canada.
