Shea graduated from Harvard Law School, practiced law and served as counsel to the Foreign Relations Committee in the U.S. Senate. He ran as the Democratic candidate for governor of Utah in 1992.

The Charles N. Strevell was one of the organizers of Strevell-Paterson Hardware Company and was the president for many years before his retirement in 1912. He became well known for his essay, "Dinosauropodes,"" which was published several times during the 1930s.

The Timpanogos Club was started in the winter of 1913, by Samuel Russel and Preston Nibley who felt they needed to develop a closer friendship with some of the men in the community, men whom they considered were accomplishing things in the city and state.
