Abstract The Friendship Circle was organized by Elizabeth S. Wilcox as an alternative group for members of the Authors Club that were unable to attend weekly meetings due to other commitments. It was intended to be a less strenuous program with monthly rather than weekly meetings. The main purpose of The Friendship Circle was for friendly contact and association.
