Harry L. Aleson papers
Arthur L. Chaffin papers
The Arthur L. Chaffin papers (circa 1920-1976) contains correspondence, financial records, mining documents, and other records concerning Chaffin's owning and operating of the Chaffin Ferry and his mining career. Arthur L. Chaffin operated the ferry across the Colorado River at Hite, Utah until the site was covered by Lake Powell in the 1960s. He was also extensively involved in mining in southeastern Utah.
Seville Flowers photograph collection
Seville (Bill) Flowers (1900-1968) was a Professor of Botany at the University of Utah from 1936 until his death in 1968. This collection contains an image of Seville Flowers and Walter Cottam in the field and 304 color slides of Flowers' University of Utah field trips, Colorado River by air, Glen Canyon ecological survey, and copies of plates from Flowers' monographs.
William R. Halliday papers
The William R. Halliday papers (1960) contain correspondence regarding the geological features of the Glen Canyon reservoir area. Included are letters between Senator Henry Jackson and Fred G. Aandhal (Secretary of the Interior), Aandhal and John Hazle (president, The Mountaineers), and Hazle and William R. Halliday. Also included is an "Index to Glen Canyon Files."
Hite Ferry dedication booklets
The Hite Ferry booklet (1946) documents the dedication of newly developed roads that lead into Hite, Utah. Several individuals spoke at the dedication including; E. P. Pectol (the County Commissioner of Wayne County), Zeke Johnson, Bishop John D. Rogers, J. M. Adams, Wayne Wonderland, M. C. Moffit, Gordon T. Hyde, Arthur L. Crawford, Bishop Martin Guyom, and Governor Herbert B. Maw.
Jennings, Jesse D. archaeological video collection
The Jennings, Jesse D. archaeological video collection (1957-1988) consists of two sents of videos produced by prominent University of Utah archaeologist and anthropologist Jesse Jennings: the archeological survey of Glen Canyon before it was flooded by Glen Canyon dam (1957-1959), and a recording of his popular course "Tabletop Archaeology" (1988).

The Norman D. and Doris Nevills audio-visual collection consists of films produced by the Nevills family with their river running company Nevills Expeditions and home movies. Some of the collection is digitized and available in the Digital Library.
Norman D. and Doris Nevills papers
The Norman D. and Doris Nevills papers (1890s-1952) constitute one of the finest and most comprehensive collections of original research materials on the history of travel on the Colorado and Green Rivers and their tributaries. Included are correspondence, diaries, logs, subject files, news clippings, and business records. Norman Nevills (1909-1949), supported by his wife Doris, was one of the pioneers of commercial river running.

Ralph and Elizabeth Watson slide collection
The Ralph and Elizabeth Watson slide collection consists of 34 color slides of Glen Canyon and the Escalante River taken by the Watsons during a 1959 trip. The Watsons traveled to the canyon from their home in southern California to view it before it was flooded in the creation of the Powell Reservoir.
