The Salt Lake Oratorio Society was incorporated in 1914 and has become an internationally acclaimed music group.

The ZCMI Choral Society concert programs (1936-1945) is a collection of seven concert programs for the society's annual Christmas productions of Christus (an oratorio by Mendelssohn), traditional carols, and ancient and modern Christmas songs.
