The Clarice Short photograph collection contains personal photos of University of Utah English professor Clarice Short, her family and friends.

The Malcolm O. Sillars papers (1894-2005) consist of research notes, syllabi, lectures, tests, and student papers on various topics while he was teaching at universities. Malcolm O. Sillars taught at Iowa State University, California State University, the University of Massachusetts, and the University of Utah. At the University of Utah he served as Dean of the College of Humanities (1974-1981) and as Chair of the Dept. of Communication (1986-1989).

The Edward H. Snow autobiographical sketch (1936) consists of eight-pages that was copied by James Erickson under the Writer's Project in 1936. A table of contents and a name index are provided. Included in the sketch are Snow's boyhood recollections of George A. Smith, John Taylor, and Brigham Young. He also describes the growth of the educational system in Southern Utah, particularly the creation of Dixie College.

The Clifford C. Snyder photograph collection consists of x-rays from Snyder's work as a plastic surgeon, two black and white photographs relating to the x-rays, and three candid photographs of three people, one of whom is identified as Dr. Sidney Suuderlant of Australia. The other two individuals may be Dr. Snyder and his wife.

The Robert C. Steensma papers (1907-2012) contain the personal, military, and university documents of his life and career. Steensma was an officer in the Naval Reserve from 1948 to 1983 and retired with the rank of Captain. He taught at the University of South Dakota, Augustana College. From 1966 to 2001, he taught at the University of Utah. He is the author of several books and articles, including Wallace Stegner's Salt Lake City.

The Robert C. Steensma photograph collection contains photos, political cartoons, and post cards donated by Robert C. Steenma. Robert C. Steensma was a former Naval Reserve for the Naval Seabee Twelfth division in Ogden, Utah.

The item is a certificate for the honorary degree of Master of Didactics awarded to William M. Stewart in 1892.

The Students Against Apartheid collection (circa 1980s) consists mainly of news articles regarding apartheid and the Shanty Protest conducted by this group on the University of Utah. Some financial and legal papers are also included.

The J. Irvin Swigart papers (1918-1981) consist of reprints of articles, scrapbooks, photos, notes, and some correspondence from years as professor of physics at the University of Utah, 1931-1978.

The James Edward Talmage photograph collection consists of portraits of James E. Talmage and his family. Talmage was a geology professor at the University of Deseret and later served as president of the same institution, now known as the University of Utah.

The Obert C. Tanner papers (1924-1993) consist of commencement addresses, programs, catalogs, and news clippings. Tanner was a professor, manufacturer of jewelry, and a philanthropist.

The Milton B. Taylor research paper consist of an undated typescript paper by Taylor on public land grants to the University of Utah and other educational institutions from the 1850s to 1960.

The "This Week We Honor" scrapbooks (1957-1962) consist of photographs and news clippings regarding students and faculty honored each week by the staff of the University of Utah Union.

The Lennox Tierney interviews audio-visual collection (1994-1997) concern Tierney's experiences as an orientalist. Dr. Tierney is an emeritus professor in art history at the University of Utah and an expert in Asian art and culture who once served as Commissioner of Art and Monuments during the Allied occupation of Japan.

The David Brighton Timmins papers (1968-1989) consist primarily of materials relating to Dr. Timmins career in the United States Foreign Service, including correspondence, State Department memoranda, reports, and official documents. Also included are documents relating to his role in the establishment of the Department of Economics at Weber State University and papers regarding his tenure teaching economics at Instituto Tecnologico Y De Estudios Superiores De Monterrey.

The Joseph B. Toronto papers (1845-1960) contain correspondence, legal documents, notes, and maps. Joseph B. Toronto (1854-1933) was an early professor at the University of Utah.

The Joseph B. Toronto photograph collection contains a single group portrait of the first University of Utah faculty.

The University of Utah Alumni Association photograph collection contains portraits of alumni, as well as photographs of Alumni Association events, meetings, and activities.

This collection (1920-1994) consists of the manuscript component to the University of Utah Archives photograph collection. The documents index various aspects of buildings on the University of Utah campus and other manuscript materials that accompanied the photograph component.
