Includes letters from Thomas L. Kane, Brigham Young, and his wife, Elizabeth Cumming; Cumming's personal record of those fleeing east from Utah while wintering with the Utah Expedition at Camp Scott, Wyoming; scrapbooks of national clippings from Cumming's term of office.
