Virgil C. Aldrich papers
The Virgil C. Aldrich papers (1928-1999) contain correspondence, journals, notebooks, writings, essays, and articles. Alrich was educated at Oxford College, the Sorbonne, and the University of California at Berkeley. He taught philosophy at several universities before retiring to Salt Lake City in 1973 where he was an adjunct professor of philosophy at the University of Utah.

The Canyonlands Maze notebook (1965-1967) contains field notes for an archeological expedition into the Maze. Includes pencil sketches of rock art found, locations visited, miles traveled and general notes. Author unknown. The Maze is the least accessible district of Canyonlands.

Carleson papers (1883-1993) contain correspondence, diaries, scrapbooks, certificates, notebooks, pamphlets, and business records concerning Fredrick Carleson and members of the Carleson, Gailey, and Patterson families. Carleson owned an automobile dealership in Salt Lake City. He was president of the Utah Automobile Dealers Asociation during the 1970s.
