Hugh J. Cannon missionary correspondence
The Hugh J. Cannon missionary correspondence (1926-1928) contain correspondence pertaining to the LDS Church's Swiss and German Mission, where Hugh Jenne Cannon (1870-1931) presided as mission president from 1925 to 1928. The correspondence reports the progress of missionary T. Quentin Cannon; some are addressed to him and some are to his parents, Jesse F. and Margaret Cannon.
Brigham Young Card papers
The Brigham Young Card papers (1936-2003) consist of a photocopy of a typewritten diary relating to Card's mission for the LDS Church. He was called to the French mission and was assigned to work in the French-Swiss (Romande) District of Switzerland. Also included in the collection is Card's Boy Scout journal and general articles and historical information.
Lorenz Fuellenbach papers
The Lorenz Fuellenbach papers (1862-1961) contain Fuellenbach's personal records such as family records, naturalization papers, family history, and church records, missionary notes, journals, and correspondence.
Christian Schneider papers
The Christian Schneider papers (1884-1909) contain diaries, letters, a temple record, and "The Shirt-Tail Provenade," an account of a chapter of his life. Schneider was born in Switzerland in 1844. He joined the LDS Church at age 23 and moved to Utah in 1868, where he worked on the transcontinental railroad and was present when the Golden Spike was driven.
George B. Spencer diaries [photocopies]
This collection (1864-1867) consists of a bound photocopy of the original mission diaries of George B. Spencer. The diaries detail his experiences serving a mission in Europe for the Mormon church.
Jabez Woodward diary [photocopy]
The Jabez Woodward diary [photocopy] (1857-1858) was kept while he served as a missionary for the LDS Church.
Levi Edgar Young papers
The Levi Edgar Young papers (1901-1963) consist of two journals, a book of pressed flowers, correspondence, and news clippings. Other miscellaneous papers are also included. Levi Edgar Young (1874-1963) was a Utah educator and member of the LDS Church's First Quorum of the Seventy.
