Abstract
The Robert L. Campbell papers (1840-1873) contain his diaries, correspondence, genealogy, and broadsides. Robert L Campbell (1825-1874) was an early Mormon educator, and one of the pioneers who crossed the Overland Trail in 1854. He was the Territorial Superintendant of Schools, and is widely held responsible for the birth of the school system in Utah.
