Abstract The Charles Shepherd papers (1905-1950) consist of clippings, photographs, programs, and reviews originally in scrapbooks detailing Shepherd's professional music career as a pianist, conductor and piano teacher. Includes a monograph on the history of theater in Utah by Horace G. Whitney. Charles Shepherd was a Utah pianist and conductor of the Salt Lake Philharmonic Orchestra, 1919-1927.
