Ballet West promotional materials audio-visual collection
The Ballet West promotional materials audio-visual collection (1976-1987) consists almost entirely of audio recordings of radio advertisements for Ballet West tickets and productions. There are also audio recordins of Ballet West personalities on the "State of the Arts" radio program one television advertisment recorded on 16mm film. A professional ballet company, Ballet West was established in 1963 and offers a season of performances at the Salt Lake City, Utah's Capitol Theatre.

The Ballet West records (1942-2007) contain correspondence, pamphlets and brochures, playbills, items for display, business materials, financial records, set designs, and scrapbooks. The majority of the collection concentrates on Glenn Walker Wallace (1898-1988), a prominent musician and dancer who co-founded Ballet West with Willem Christensen in 1962. Ballet West was founded in 1962 by Glenn Walker Wallace and Willem Christensen.

The William Scott Barber papers consists of theatre posters from Pioneer Memorial Threatre, Babcock Threatre, University of Utah Opera Company and University of Utah summer threatre programs. The papers also contain news clippings, programs, announcements, correspondence, and set design models. Barber was Technical Director for the Pioneer Memorial Theatre during the 1970s.

Tandy Beal is well known for her memorable performances in the Nutcracker, Crazy Jane, Outside Blake's Window, and her appearances with Bobby McFerrin. She is also the founder of Tandy Beal and Company which produced the successful twist on a traditional form of entertainment known as the New Pickle Circus.
