Harold Egoscue graduated from Utah State University in 1951, after which he spent seventeen years at Dugway, Utah heading a research project studying small animal life.

Schefski was a Salt Lake City sports news reporter, a political activist, and secretary to Mayor W. Mont Ferry, President of US Realty Company. The majority of news clippings, as well as correspondence, pertain to hunting and wildland management issues.
