The Allan D. Ainsworth papers (1956-2000) consist primarily of research materials related to the Act of June 18, 1934 (Indian Reorganization Act) in 1934. Ainsworth taught in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Utah and founded the Fourth Street Clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1988.

It is organized into 221 boxes of records dating from its founding in l89l up to 2010. The Unitarian Church has been an advocate of many causes and has played a vital cultural role in the Salt Lake City area.

The Madeline R. McQuown papers (1803-1976) contain some of McQuown's research and works. While the collection does contain some of McQuown's more personal works, such as some of her poetry, the collection deals mainly with her research. Her research was focused on Brigham Young and the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the LDS Church).

The Brigham Young papers (1857, 1876-1877, 1908) consist of documents relating to the religious and civic activities of Brigham Young. Included are correspondence, diaries (1837-1857), proclamations, three holograph pages from his will, and microfilm of letter books and official papers from his time as governor of Utah Territory (1849-1857). Brigham Young was the second leader of the LDS Church and was responsible for the movement of the Mormons to the Salt Lake Valley.
