John A. Farrell scrapbook
The John A. Farrell scrapbook (1982-1983) contains clippings from the series "Utah: Inside the Church State" by John A. Farrell published in the Denver Post in 1982; reprint of the series published by the Denver Post in 1983. The series examined LDS beliefs and doctrines, discrimination against non-LDS in Utah, and the level of political and economic control exercised by the LDS Church in Utah. Farrell was a reporter for the Denver Post.
Freemen Institute records
The Freemen Institute records (1963-1980) consist of pamphlets, course outlines, clippings, questionnaires, drafts of critical essays, correspondence, and notes. Also included are transcripts of speeches by Ezra Taft Benson supporting the organization. The Freemen Institute was a conservative political organization based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Many of its members were Mormon Church members.
Sonia Johnson audio-visual collection

The Sonia Johnson photograph collection contains photographs and slides of Equal Rights Amendment demonstrations in Salt Lake City and elsewhere. Also in the collection are photographs taken from television of the excommunication trial of Sonia Johnson as well as some miscellaneous photographs.
