Leonard H. Kirkpatrick papers
The Leonard H. Kirkpatrick papers (1852-1950) contain Kirkpatrick's writings on Utah's past and libraries throughout the state of Utah. Leonard H. Kirkpatrick was hired on as the head librarian of the Thomas Library at the University of Utah in 1941 and was an avid promoter of the University of Utah Library. He assisted in making the library an important research institution.
David Kranes papers
The David Kranes papers (1958-2011) contain the plays, short stories, book manuscripts and teaching files. Kranes is a nationally recognized Utah writer, primarily writing plays and short fiction.
Vernon Wallace Larsen papers
The Vernon Wallace Larsen papers (1932-1997) contain his research for the book Utah Poets. This includes oral histories, interviews, examples of their work, and correspondence. The book was written to celebrate the Utah State Poetry Society's annual award for "Poet of the Year," and includes a biography of each winner. There are also interviews and original work with poets who did not win, but still contributed to the society.

B. Roland Lewis papers
The Benjamin Roland Lewis papers (1885-1955) consist largely of correspondence having to do with the publication of his scholarly works and also contains peoms, and drafts and bound typescripts of Lewis' work. B. Roland Lewis taught English at the University of Utah from 1915 to 1951. He was considered an authority on William Shakespeare.

Melvin E. Lewis papers
The Melvin E. Lewis papers (1970-2004) consist of an autobiography, poems, and a number of brief photo essays. The essays are from one to three pages long and illustrate Lewis's view of the American West. The photographs which accompany the essays were taken in Utah, Idaho, and Montana from the mid 1970s through 2004.
Ernest H. Linford correspondence
The Ernest H. Linford correspondence (1955-1979) consist of seventeen letters to and from Linford, Fawn M. Brodie, and Dean R. Brimhall. Ernest Linford worked for the Salt Lake Tribune where he was known for his liberal politics. His political, religious, and environmental attitudes are the subjects of these letters.
