The African American oral history project (1971-1973) contains interviews with people who resided in Utah during the Depression and World War II era. Those interviewed discuss their experience being African American in Utah during this time. Items discussed include difficulty finding housing and jobs as well as discrimination in public areas and from neighbors. Audio is also available for the interviews.

The Woody Anderson papers (1956-1991) contain news clippings, brochures, travel guides, correspondence, resumes, and a typescript of a two-part interview with Anderson, conducted in 1990 by Joe Arave.

The Harold Bauman papers (1919-2008) contains a variety of medical white papers, research on Ammon Hennacy (a Christian radical activist), and oral history interviews conducted by students of Dr. Bauman with veterans of the Vietnam War. Bauman was an Associate Professor of History of Science and Medicine at the University of Utah.

The Bear Lake resorts and recreation collection (1921-2001) was compiled by Shelby Peterson and consists of oral histories by Bryan Booth, Virginia Alvira Booth Taylor Bolton and Doris Rich Boggess. Also included is an article written by F. John Roberts entitled, "The Resort." The collection discusses the history of Bear Lake in Utah.

The Davis Bitton oral histories and autobiographies collection (1966-2005) contains transcripts of oral histories conducted as an assignment for History 110 at the University of Utah. The interviews cover a wide range of Utah history, politics, government, and every day life. Bitton taught history at the University of Utah from 1966 to 1995.

The Ambrosina Colombo Bonza oral history interview (1979) was conducted by Floyd A. O'Neil of the University of Utah American West Center. Bonza was an Italian immigrant to Carbon County, Utah. She discusses her life in Carbon County, her family, and social conditions.

The Mary Lythgoe Bradford papers (1936-1994) contain personal writing, research, and manuscripts written by Mary Lythgoe Bradford, a LDS poet, author, and literary critic. Materials predominantly consist of her research and drafts of the biography of Lowell Bennion, Lowell L. Bennion: Teacher, Counselor, Humanitarian.

The Duward and Esther Campbell oral history interview (1969) consist of a transcript of an oral history interview between the Campbells and Everett L. Cooley in Vernal, Utah. Included is information on the history and geography of Brown's Park, Utah.

The James S. Campbell papers (1928-1973) contain a transcript of the oral history of James S. Campbell and a handwritten copy of "The Lass o' Lasswade" by James Brookston (b.1855). Brookston was originally from Stobhill, Scotland. He became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1864 and moved to Utah in 1883.

The Ray R. Canning family papers (1892-2004) are a collection of correspondence, pictures, personal emphemera, and reminiscences gathered by Ray and his wife Lois Cook Canning.

The Larry Cappetto independent film collection (2004) consists of a documentary about the survivors of World War II's D-Day. Many of the veterans interviewd are Utah natives. Larry Cappetto is a Colorado based documentary filmmaker. This film premiered at the Salt Lake City Public Library.

The Carbon County oral history project (1972-1993) consist of oral histories from residents of Carbon County, Utah. While the main emphasis is on living in coal mine country, the interviews are verbal snapshots of rural Utah life from the earliest settlers to as recently as 1993. The Everett L. Cooley oral history project is an ongoing oral history program designed to document the history of Utah with an emphasis on the interaction between the University of Utah and the local and regional communities.
