The Henry P. Plenk papers (1952-1987) contain correspondence, articles written by Plenk, typescripts, interviews, and other documents pertaining to Plenk's book, Medicine in the Beehive State.

The Henry P. Plenk photograph collection consists of images of Henry P. Plenk and his contemporaries and students, photographs published in: The history of radiology in Utah, and slides concerning radiology and x-ray technology.

The Ralph Taylor Richards papers (1848-1953) contain materials relating to his work as a physician in Utah, as well as Utah's medical history. The collection contains manuscript drafts for Richards' Of Medicine, Hospitals, and Doctors, his research materials, Richard's and other's articles, lectures, and speeches, and materials concerning Richards' medical practice.

The Edith Leroy Richardson papers (1883-1971) is comprised of two scrapbooks, nursing certificates, and other documents pertaining to and/or collected by Richardson (1881-1977), a professional nurse who was also a granddaughter of Chief Tintic of the Uintah Utes.

The Ernest H. Runyon papers (1884-1999) contain journals, correspondence, articles, publications, charts, notebooks, notes, research materials, conference materials, pamphlets, programs, and news clippings, mostly relating to Runyon's research on mycobacteria and tuberculosis. Runyon was a research microbiologist, specializing in tuberculosis related bacteria.

The Leo Tolstoy and Barbara Samuels papers (1841-2010) consist of materials relating to the biochemisty careers and personal papers of Leo T. Samuels (1899-1978) and Barbara Petri Samuels (1901-2010). Included are correspondence, family history, speech and article reprints, an oral history interview transcript, memorabilia, and news clippings.

The Leo Tolstoy Samuels photograph collectionphotographs of Leo T. Samuels in various locations, often with others associated with the University of Utah. Also included in this collection is a photograph of a portrait painted by Alvin Gittins.

The Lorraine Sevcovic report (1975) consist of a study by Sevcovic titled "Traditions of Pregnancy Which Influence Child Care of the Navajo People." The report is a study of Navajo traditions concerning pregnancy and the attempt to integrate Navajo customs into modern health care programs.

The Ellis Reynolds Shipp papers [photocopies] (1866-1962) consist of an autobiography and diary transcription of Ellis Shipp (1847-1939) by her daughter, Ellis Shipp Musser. Ellis Shipp was a Latter-day Saint pioneer and doctor, specializing in obstetrics and nursing.

The Clifford C. Snyder photograph collection consists of x-rays from Snyder's work as a plastic surgeon, two black and white photographs relating to the x-rays, and three candid photographs of three people, one of whom is identified as Dr. Sidney Suuderlant of Australia. The other two individuals may be Dr. Snyder and his wife.

The Phyllis Southwick papers (1971-1983) contain reprints and photocopies of articles on aging, health care, social work topics, notes, symposia agenda and programs, some correspondence, health care manuals from tenure as Professor of Social Work.

The Theodore H. Stanley papers (1960s-2000) consist of the collected works and papers of esteemed anesthesiologist Theodore H. Stanley, one of the team members who worked on the first total artificial heart replacement developed at the University of Utah. The collection includes research, published articles, correspondence, and models/diagrams of Dr. Stanley's work.

The Ewart Ainslie Swinyard photograph collection consists of images of Ewart Swinyard working at a hospital, views of various labs, and around the hospital.

The Ewart A. Swinyard papers (1940-1988) contain laboratory notebooks, teaching material, articles, personal files, sophomore clinic preparations, handbooks, committee and research reports, meeting minutes, annual reports, and University of Utah medical information. Swinyard was a pharmaceutical researcher and a professor of pharmacology at the University of Utah.

The Lillian May Tucker nursing certificate (1919) certifies that Tucker graduated from the St. Marks Hospital Training School for Nurses.
