The Ernest H. Runyon papers (1884-1999) contain journals, correspondence, articles, publications, charts, notebooks, notes, research materials, conference materials, pamphlets, programs, and news clippings, mostly relating to Runyon's research on mycobacteria and tuberculosis. Runyon was a research microbiologist, specializing in tuberculosis related bacteria.

The W. L. "Bud" Rusho papers (1605-2011) consist of journals, correspondence, articles, book reviews, interviews, manuscripts, poems, newspaper clippings, motion picture scripts, lectures, maps, papers, reports, memos, diaries, documents, minutes, videotape materials, and assorted publications.

The Samuel Russell papers (circa 1912-1914) consist mainly of papers and articles regarding the "American" system of weights and measurements.

The Salamander collection (1829-2000) consist of interview notes, news clippings, publications, investigative information, and other materials used by Linda Sillitoe and Allen Roberts in their book Salamander: The Story of the Mormon Forgery Murders, a book about the 1985 bombing deaths of two Salt Lake City residents.

The Salt Lake County Grower's Association records (1955-1991) consist of bylaws, articles of incorporation, meeting minutes, financial records, and meeting announcements. The Salt Lake County Grower's Association was created to promote and encourage the principles and practices of cooperative buying and marketing to the farmers in Salt Lake County, Utah.

The Karl C. Sandberg papers (1817-1996) consist of correspondence, meeting minutes, class handouts, articles, research notes, and newspaper clippings. Sandberg was an author of various language and religious texts.

The Susan Barbara Tallmon Sargent papers (1891-1973) consist of correspondence, journals, news clippings, reports, articles, guest books, and financial documents collected by Sargent's niece, Ardis Hitchcock, who was planning on writing a biography of Sargent, a medical missionary to China.

The Josh Scheuerman papers (1994-2001) consist of publications concerning either snowboarding or music. Scheuerman writes for SLUG (Salt Lake Under Ground) magazine.

The Barry Scholl papers (1972-2006) include his writings and correspondence. Barry Scholl established the Entrada Institute, a Utah-based coalition of environmentalists, and the collection contains many of the articles and stories he has written about the cause, as well as his correspondence with various other activists, such as the author Ward Jay Roylance.

The Adrien and Emilie Segil papers (1825-1987) contain a scrapbook and general materials relating to Adrien and Emilie's fashion retail business.

The Antoine de Seynes papers (1938) contain materials documenting a French expedition kayak trip down the Colorado River. Included are correspondence, journals, articles, and a poem. Most of the materials are in French.

The Pat Shea papers (1976-1994) contain correspondence, fax transmissions, articles, newsletters, pamphlets, brochures, notebooks, legislation materials, U. S. Senate materials, term reports, and news clippings related to the politics of Utah and the United States. Shea graduated from Harvard Law School, practiced law and served as counsel to the Foreign Relations Committee in the U.S. Senate. He ran as the Democratic candidate for governor of Utah in 1992.

The Jan Shipps papers (1961-1979) consist of two papers written by Shipps entitled "Writings about Modern Mormonism: An Essay Review on Samuel W. Taylor's Latest Book" and "An 'Inside-Outsider' in Zion."

The Sheri Slaughter Utah pottery collection (1858-2001) contains photocopies of articles and notes relating to the history of pottery in Utah, and a daily account book (1866-1888) and ledger (1881-1893) from the Eardley Brothers Pottery Company. Sheri Slaughter was a student and connoisseur of Utah pottery, and she collected this material as part of her interest in that subject.

The William H. Smart diaries (1886-1937 and 1979-1981) describe William activities as a Mormon missionary in Europe and as president of the Eastern States mission (1899-1900). They also describe his business activities in southeastern Idaho and eastern Utah as well as his town settlement and LDS Church activities. Included with the diaries are articles and clippings about his life.

The Emil L. Smith papers (1905-1994) contain copies and reprints of scientific papers in biochemistry by Emil L. Smith and by other contemporary biochemists. Emil L. Smith was a biochemist at the University of Utah College of Medicine and UCLA.

This Franklin Richards Smith papers (1877-1938) consist of correspondence, papers, and photographs which document Smith's LDS mission to England, 1908-1911. Also included is correspondence of his parents, other relatives, and associates. Finally, the collection includes an assortment of printed materials such as newspaper clippings, booklets, and assorted souvenir items. The collection consists entirely of photocopies.

The George D. Smith papers (1825-2009) contain essays, symposium presentations, letters, and othe items relating to central and controversial questions in LDS history and belief.
