The Frank Cyrus Carman papers (1924-1989) consist of correspondence, broadcast transcripts, financial and business records, and QSL (radio transmission) cards documenting Frank Cyrus Carman's career in radio broadcasting. Carman established and managed several early Utah commercial radio stations, including KUTA (later KLUB) and KISN in Salt Lake City. The bulk of the collection consists of records, including advertising and public affairs broadcast transcripts, from these stations.
Arthur L. Chaffin papers

Chaffin papers (circa 1920-1976) contains correspondence, financial records, mining documents, and other records concerning Chaffin's owning and operating of the Chaffin Ferry and his mining career. Arthur L. Chaffin operated the ferry across the Colorado River at Hite, Utah until the site was covered by Lake Powell in the 1960s. He was also extensively involved in mining in southeastern Utah.
