The Melvin A. Cook photograph collection contains images relative to the investigation of potential and/or accidental explosions in a variety of areas and situations and the study and development and disposal of explosive materials. Subject matter includes electron diffraction, action of commercial xanthates, tungsten burners, etc. Also included; specialized photograph equipment, business meetings, and geology "before and after" images of test explosions.

The Cooley family photograph collection contains photographs of Andrew Wood Cooley, four of his five wives, and various members of the Cooley family and extended families.

The Cotton Mission photograph collection contains photographs of a cotton mill, workers, cotton plants, and vineyards of the cotton mission established by the LDS Church in southern Utah.

The Cove Fort, Utah photograph collection contains photographs of Cove Fort, established as a way station for travelers and a refuge from Indians.

The Arthur L. Crawford photograph collection contains a copy of the booklet entitled: Hite: September 17, 1946 containing mounted photographs which describes the dedication ceremony for the ferry across the Colorado River at Hite, Utah. The collection includes photographs of Lake Bonneville shells.

The Vesta Pierce Crawford photograph collection contains a portrait of Emma Smith, wife of Joseph Smith, in later years.

The Croydon Utah/Devil’s Slide Cement Plant photograph collection contains materials related to the cement plant and the nearby towns, railroad, and the rock formation after which it was named.

The Harry L. A. Culmer photograph collection contains portraits of Henry Culmer, family members, and friends.

The Harold Dalgliesh photograph collection contains twenty original photographs of Salt Lake City and the University of Utah from 1890 to 1914.

The Davis County flood photograph collection contains glass lantern slides taken by University of Utah geologist Frederick J. Pack in 1923 show destruction to landscape and houses wrought by the flood.

The William Dawson photograph collection contains photographs of himself while in office and also fellow congressmen and staff members. There are also several photographs of the proposed Glen Canyon Dam area in southern Utah.

The Deseret Livestock Company photograph collection contains images documenting company activities in livestock raising.

Dialogue Foundation photograph collection contains published and submitted drawings, paintings and photographs. The material has been separated by subject matter, i.e. LDS (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) musicians and artists, LDS historical figures, LDS women, art, LDS temples and downtown Salt Lake City, The Book of Abraham, and miscellaneous photographs and material.

The Dinwoodey Furniture Company photograph collection contains photographs of Dinwoodey Furniture Company business from its beginnings in 1874 to its closing in 1985. There are views of the interiors and exteriors of the buildings occupied over the years and of the furniture sold by Dinwoodey's. This collection has been digitized and can be viewed in the Digital Library.

The Fannie S. Dods photograph collection contains images of various scenes in Utah, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and North Dakota.

This collection contains materials related to Dougherty's carrer as head of the Anatomoy Department at the University of Utah Medical Center. Portraits of business groups, occasions, and similar miscellany.

The Earl Douglass photograph collection contains numerous photographs of Douglass, his wife, Pearl, son, Gawin, sister, Nettie, and many other family members. The bulk of this collection is comprised of photographs documenting the excavation of the area which is now Dinosaur National Monument, every stage of work is illustrated.
