The Mike Hallacy photograph collection consists of digital scans of 28 black and white and one color print of the Green and Colorado Rivers. The originals were loaned to the University of Utah by Mike Hallacy in October 2003. They depict some of his river trips on the Green and Colorado Rivers with Reynolds-Hallacy River Expeditions.

Masaru "Mas" Hamada (1917-2003) and Kiyoko "Kay" Murakami Hamada (1918-2005) were second generation, or Nissei, Japanese Americans born and raised in Ogden, Utah who married in 1944.
