Abstract The Chase and Mathews family histories (1957-2006) consist of memories, recollections, transcriptions and copies of materials that detail the history of these two families. Isaac Chase came to Utah in 1847 and in 1854 he partnered with Brigham Young to developed a flour mill which became known as the Chase Mill.
