The Colorado Plateau River Guides (CPRG), founded in 1993, is an organization of professional river guides that work and recreate on the rivers of the Colorado Plateau. This collection contains black-and-white and color photograph prints depicting recreational river use and nature on the Colorado Plateau dating from 1964 to 2000.
Mike Hallacy digital photograph collection
The Mike Hallacy photograph collection consists of digital scans of 28 black and white and one color print of the Green and Colorado Rivers. The originals were loaned to the University of Utah by Mike Hallacy in October 2003. They depict some of his river trips on the Green and Colorado Rivers with Reynolds-Hallacy River Expeditions.
Dick Harold Johnson digital photograph collection
The Dick Harold Johnson digital photograph collection focuses on river rafting on the Green and Colorado Rivers and boating on Lake Powell. The middle section of the collection contains images of the Colorado River, pre Lake Powell and the filling of the Lake.

The Gus Scott digital photograph collection contains images of the Colorado River and Glen Canyon, 1952-1959. The majority of the images are scenic though some are photographs of river rafting trips. The collection contains digital scans only; originals were returned to the owner.

The digital images were taken from a photograph album which was loaned to the University of Utah by Joy Ungricht in May 2004.
