Joyce Orlob Evans was a great-granddaughter of Brigham Young. She served on the board of the Young Women's Mutual Improvement Association, writing lyrics, film, and stage adaptations for entertainment events put on by the YWMIA. This collection contains photographs of Evans' family and images of the stage productions she was involved with, dating from the 1840s to 1980s.

Photographs show the very large, formally dressed crowd gathering outside the unknown theatre venue as well as seated inside.
