The Dr. Robert Starr Waite photograph collection contains images of areas in the Great Basin National Park including campgrounds, recreational areas, and points of interest therein.

The Ralph Wakely photograph collection consists of images of Ralph Wakely skiing.

David M. Walden (1947-2010) was a historian and educator who authored, edited, and cowrote numerous individual and organizational histories. This collection contains material gathered by Walden during research into the medical history of Utah, as well as photographs documenting Walden's time living in Guam in the 1970s during and after his service in the United States Navy.

Charles H. Walker was a University of Utah graduate who studied archaeology. He worked for the United States Airforce as an electrical technician. This collection contains images related to Walker's family, military service and job, class expeditions, and travels across Europe.

Richard Dean “Dick” Wallin (1942-2021) was a Utah doctor and rock climber who was a member of the Alpenbock Climbing Club and a volunteer in outdoor search and rescue. This collection contains digital only images and slides of Wallin and friends rock climbing, skiing, and hiking dating from the 1960s to 1990s.

Chip Ward is a Utah author and environmentalist known for his nonfiction writing about the impact of nuclear weapons and power on Utah’s ecology. This collection contains images collected by Ward in relation to his work as an environmentalist.

Andrew Heber Wardle (1877-1899) was the grandson of Frances Rushton and George Wardle, who migrated to Utah in the Willard Richards Company in 1848. This collection contains cabinet cards depicting the Wardle family in the nineteenth century.

Florence Ellen Ware (1891-1972) was a Utah artist who taught at the University of Utah. This collection contains psotcards, photograph albums, photographs of paintings, and photographs of Ware and associates dating from 1910 to 1945.

The Grace Richards Warner photograph collection consists of Richards family photographs. Included are images of family members, acquaintances and family homes, from the mid nineteenth to twentieth centuries.

The Larry Warren photograph collection consists of slides used to document a lecture on preparations for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games as well as personal and professional items realting to his career and induction in the Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame

The Wasatch Presbyterian Church photographs consist of materials from three Presbyterian churches in Salt Lake City: Westminster, Third, and Wasatch. The materials the materials include gatherings of people who attended the church as well as the erection and remodeling of various church buildings.

The Julia Farnsworth Lund Wassmer photograph collection consists of images chronicling events throughout Julia's life, including supervising F.E.R.A and WPA projects, activities as Utah State Art Director, and organizing beautification projects which gave artists work during the depression.

Theodore Milton Wassmer was an American painter and art collector. The Theodore Milton Wassmer photograph collection contains slides and photographs depicting Wassner's work in various mediums.

Darrell Watchman worked as a ski lift attendant at Snowbird Ski Resort between 1975 and 1977. This collection contains slides that he took of the resort during his employment there.

Ardean Watts (1928-2017) was a musician and conductor who served in many positions in Utah's arts communities, including pianist for the Utah Symphony (1956-1978), Associate Conductor for the Utah Symphony (1956-1979), director of the University of Utah Opera Company (1965-1978), and chairman of hte Utah Arts Council. This collection contains photographs, transparencies, and negatives related to Watts' career in the Utah fine arts and to his personal life and travels.
