Abstract The Utah Scottish Association audio-visual collection (1971-1981) consists of audiocassette recordings taken from the lectures and interviews of Dr. Frederick S. Buchanan on Scottish culture and the experience of Scottish-American immigrants to the United States. An historian and educator, Buchanan emigrated from Scotland to Utah with his parents in 1949.
