Abstract The Marie Barker Nelson music recordings (1994-1996) consist of audio recordings of music written by Utah composer Marie Barker Nelson. A Salt Lake City native, Dr. Nelson studied at the Yale School of Music and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the University of Utah where she studied under Ramiro Cortés and Vladimir Ussachevsky.
