LaVern Trepp photograph collection

Abstract Lavern O. Trepp (1917-2005) was an American skier and United States Army veteran who served in the 10th Mountain Division during World War II. After his military service, Trepp acquired the Pine Mountain Alpine Ski area in Iron Mountain, Michigan. This collection contains color slides and black-and-white prints of Trepp's military service and training, as well as images of skiing and of his family dating from approximately 1940 to 1960.
