Richard J. Bird papers
The Richard J. Bird papers (1963-1990) concern the development and installation of aerial tram and rope tow equipment for recreational ski areas. Included are reports and news clippings. Richard Bird was an administrator for the Forest Service in Ogden, Utah.
Calumet Mining and Refining Company records
The Calumet Mining and Refining Company records (1927-1980s) contain information about several mining plants throughout Utah and Nevada. It also has information about mined materials and mining methods. Many of the materials also pertain to the Combined Metals Reduction Company.

James "Dick" Mitchell photograph collection
Photographs and newspaper clippings documenting Dick Mitchell's ski and military careers, including his participation in the 1956 Olympics and his work in the 1975 evacuation of Saigon during the Vietnam War. The collection also contains a scrapbook of Mitchell's LDS mission in California; Mitchell's military awards; and images of Mitchell's pursuits of yachting and aviation in the 1980s and 1990s.

The Mormon settlements in Arizona collection (1857-1986) consists of primary sources relating to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' colonization efforts along the Little Colorado River and the surrounding area. The major part of the collection consists of materials collected by George S. Tanner. Included are photocopied or transcribed diaries, histories, correspondence, financial records, biographies and autobiographies, and clippings from and about the Arizona settlements.
