Saburo Shimomura papers
The Saburo Shimomura papers (1951-2006) consist of photocopies of military service documents. The majority of the documents discuss Shimomura's captivity by Chinese forces in 1950.
William John Silver papers
The William John Silver papers (1874-2001) consist of Silver's biography as well some ephemeral newspaper clippings and advertisement cards. Silver is best known for his influence in Salt Lake City, Utah as the frontrunner for the Silver Brother Iron Works (also known as Salt Lake Iron and Steel Company).
SL-1 Film records
The film SL-1 is a chilling re-enactment of the first fatal nuclear accident in the United States by Diane Orr and C Larry Robert, indie filmmakers from Salt Lake City. This collection includes flyers, newspaper/magazine clippings, and correspondence, tell of the making of the film, the chronology of events, biographies of the filmakers, as well as reviews of the documentary.

Frank K. Yoshimura papers
Frank Yoshimura has been active in the Mount Olympus Japanese American Citizens League. He was involved in getting a monument placed at the site of the Topaz relocation center. This collection contains correspondence, news clippings, maps, brochures, interviews, and articles. Also included is a booklet prepared in honor of the 100th birthday of Charles Kawakami.
