Rosezella Dalton Hardy was born in Roy, Utah, attended the Smithsonian Business College in Ogden, and served a mission to the Eastern States for the LDS Church from 1919 to 1923.

Ira Owen Horsfall (1885-1971) was a faculty member at LDS College, then at Cornell University. He became president of Snow College in 1933.
