The collection consists of general reports, annual reports and financial statements of the Park City Consolidated Mines Company. Also included is a booklet of maps and financial information regarding the Ontario Silver Mining Company. The Park City Consolidated Mines Company was a gold, silver, lead, and zinc mine at Park City, Utah.

The Park City, Utah photograph collection contains photographs of building exteriors and interiors in Park City, Utah, photographs of mining activities and photographs of the fire of 1898.

The Pembroke Stationery Company order book (1914) is a bound set of second copies of blueprint reproduction orders completed by this Salt Lake City firm. The clients recorded in the order book are all mining companies, with Utah Copper Co. and Alaska Gastineau Mining Co. both appearing frequently. Included with the order book are five loose sheets listing the tracing numbers for tracings to be reproduced.

The John A. Peperakis photograph collection contains photographs of local Utah mining operations, mining companies and the mines.

The John Peperakis papers (1913-1990) contains correspondence, mining information, and mostly maps that are hand-drawn, originals documenting mining (coal) areas in Utah and the Rocky Mountain areas. Peperakis was a mining engineer who was manager of Sunnyside Coal Mines, Utah for Kaiser Steel Corporation.

The Geffery R. Pollock stock certificate collection (1892-1943) consists mainly of certificates for various mining, smelting, and milling companies.

The Robert Pruitt report collection consists of parts I and II entitled, “Report of the Assistant United States Attoney General into the Charges of Ralph S. Kelley Respecting the Administration of Oil Shale Lands.”

The George W. Reed papers (1846-1909) contain correspondence, account books, receipts, advertising materials, statements, and various other papers concerning Reed, a manager of Utah's Deseret News and founder of the Salt Lake Tribune.

The Joseph B. Rosembaum papers (1940-1988) consist of papers, correspondence, talks and speeches, notes, books, articles, and reprints dealing with metallurgy and the U.S. Bureau of Mines.

This collection consists of photographs documenting the professional career of Joseph Rosenbaum as a metallurgist with the U. S. Bureau of Mines. Most of the photographs are posed portraits of groups at awards, ceremonies, banquets, and conventions. This collection is digitized and available in the Digital Library.

The Royal Coal Company payroll ledgers consist of three payroll ledgers for the Royal Coal Company that date from 1930 through 1954, and one payroll ledger for the Standard Coal Company for 1916 through 1919.

The Salt Lake City National Bank account log and notebook by J. B Cornwell (1876-1877) contains pages with pencil notes regarding Silver Shield, Bube Lode, the Carlotta, and Mountain Nymph.

The John Schmitt papers (1879-2012) contains research materials pertaining to the McChrystal family, the Tintic Mining area, and Eureka. The McChrystal family arrived in Eureka from Michigan in 1877. Their life in Eureka and Salt Lake can be followed in various newspapers online such as The Salt Lake Tribune, Eureka Reporter and others. The Tintic Mining region is still active and increasing in importance.

The Scofield Mine disaster photograph collection contains two images at the time of the mine disaster, one by George Edward Anderson, of Scofield, Utah.

The Robert N. and Peggy Broomfield Sears papers (1880s-1992) consist mainly of scrapbooks documenting the activities of this couple, including Robert Sears's career with Phillips Petroleum Company.

The Silver Brothers Iron Works records (1870s-1991) consist of business and family materials related to this Salt Lake City company.

The William John Silver papers (1874-2001) consist of Silver's biography as well some ephemeral newspaper clippings and advertisement cards. Silver is best known for his influence in Salt Lake City, Utah as the frontrunner for the Silver Brother Iron Works (also known as Salt Lake Iron and Steel Company).
