The Davis Bitton oral histories and autobiographies collection (1966-2005) contains transcripts of oral histories conducted as an assignment for History 110 at the University of Utah. The interviews cover a wide range of Utah history, politics, government, and every day life. Bitton taught history at the University of Utah from 1966 to 1995.

The Joseph Cannon campaign pamphlet contains biographical information issued during his senatorial campaign in 1992.
Carl Arvid Carlquist correspondence
The Carl Arvid Carlquist correspondence (1892-1893) consists of three letters, one from Carlquist to Utah Governor Caleb W. West, and two from West to Carlquist. Carlquist (1857-1938) was an immigrant from Sweden to Utah, a missionary to Sweden for the LDS Church, and a Utah businessman who was active in politics.

The Q. Michael Croft papers (1980-1984) consist of interview notes and two responses regarding taped interviews with local civic and community leaders. Subject of the interviews was the influence of the LDS Church on local politics.
Marriner S. Eccles papers
The Marriner S. Eccles papers (1910-1985) chronicles the years when Eccles made his greatest contributions as a national and international fiscal and monetary expert, businessman, and public figure. A portion of these papers have been digitized and are available online through the Federal Reserve Archive.

Virginia P. Frobes collection
The Virginia P. Frobes collection (1894-1956) consists of correspondence between notable Utah politicians and businessmen. Included are documents concerning Samuel Newhouse, Charles C. Parsons, Joseph H. Hutchinson, D. D. Moffat, Ray S. McCarty, Lillie M. Harris, and representatives of various mining companies. Also included is a scrapbook from the personal library of Fisher Harris which contains news clippings about his life and career.
